Per The Guardian, Saudi Pro League clubs are again targeting a major spell of investment, having spent over £750 million ($950m) last summer. Salah was targeted last time out and Al-Ittihad tabled a bid worth £150m ($190m), although it was rejected by the Reds.

Saudi pro league has been putting alison as priority target after it was also including salah on the list of priorit transfer this season. It surprises me considering that there are so many great goal keepers in european competitions. It's also questioning why must alison?
His performance is not that good. Why don't saudi pro league try to get ortega or someone else from manchester city or another club?
What is important now for the Saudi Pro League is to increase its brand value and Alison Becker is a career goalkeeper who can affect the brand value. That's why getting Alison sounds better to them than getting Ortega. I think they are right in their way of thinking. Maybe in a few years they can use the brand quality of the league to transfer the players they want, but the important thing now is to increase the brand of the SPL.
Alisson Becker is a pretty good Liverpool goalkeeper in my opinion and the SPL will get quite good brand value as we see how popular the EPL is this season so players who move to the SPL will be in the spotlight and will increase the value of the SPL itself, Alisson Becker is Liverpool's mainstay goalkeeper and Liverpool will get a lot of money if they sell this goalkeeper, but Liverpool also have to look for a new goalkeeper who is better than the sale of Alisson.

Not only that, Liverpool players are being targeted by the Saudi club and Salah is also one of their priorities. It looks like Liverpool will be flooded with money if they sell these two important players, considering that they are also no longer young so Liverpool can sell them while the Saudi club is still interested in them. Maybe if Liverpool refused, the Saudi club would not have offered him twice, of course with a fantastic transfer fee.
