Nobody gets scammed if nobody are able to believe in huge rewards for doing nothing. Sadly, because of greediness some people take the bait and fall into this kind of trap. Even if you had knowledge about cryptocurrency, it doesn't mean you are safe, we never know their mind because many intelligent people fall into their hands as well due to promising offers.
But at least having some ideas about how this works, will save others who are not greedy.
It is not just like we need it but it is a must if we want to grow up and reach our goal. As we take responsibility for our investment, therefore, it is our well to do it otherwise, never consider ourselves as an investor.
