Bayern Munich's performance is bad so Munich did not win the title? Or is the Leverkusen team playing so well that Munich can't win the title?
I would say that the Leverkusen team has performed well this season which is why Munich failed to win the title. The previous season, Munich won the title with 71 points. This season, Munich has earned 72 points from 33 matches, but still Munich is 15 points behind Leverkusen. I wouldn't say that Munich's performance has deteriorated more than last season.
I don't think the Munich management will fire Thomas Tuchel right now. Tuchel is likely to be offered another season by Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga title was earned by a club that's unbeaten in 50 games played this season. Bayer Leverkusen was extremely on fire and did everything to maintain this outstanding standards. Bayern Munich accumulated 72 points and they're second position on the Bundesliga table. They weren't their best this season with watching poor performance coming from all rounds tournament. Thomas Tuchel didn't do excellent job but there's hope for him to recover and bounce back to good winning form atleast the board will give listening ears to the manager and agent.
Leverkusen has appeared very impressive this season, who would have thought that the team would be able to always appear consistent and perform well this season in every match they play, especially in the Bundesliga League, thus preventing the Bayern team from lifting the trophy. 15 points adrift of the Leverkusen team, this season the Bayern players had to give up Leverkusen as winners of the Bundesliga trophy because apart from that there was nothing else the Bayern team could do at the end of the season by being in 2nd place in the standings, showing that Bayern is one of the strongest teams and will definitely perform even better next season.
