Even the players may actually be performing the way they are doing probably because of ten hag so I think his sack will be the first step into seeing if he's the problem or the players because I know sometimes it's actually possible for players to really put up poor performance as a way of protesting against a coach so he could be sacked because they can confront him directly as it will affect their career.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see that Manchester united players begin to do better after the sack of ten hag because a similar case was seen in Roma when they had Mourinho this season and they weren't performing well enough but immediately he was sacked and a new coach brought in , it wasn't long the team started doing so well, before now we had taught that the team would have challenges coping with the new Coach but they turned out better so it's very possible Manchester united may be suffering similar situation but they are yet to recognize it and give it the required attention.

If they give some funds to ten hag and ask him to go scout for players of his choice probably under supervision while they aswell get to put away some of the players, I think they will still be faced with same challenge because it's obvious ten hag doesn't have a good scout as this season he did. Something similar and it turned out flop, he changed his keeper and sold a few players yet couldn't achieve a single thing.
