That is their weakness this season which means they have to be in 3rd position at the end of the standings. If the previous season they could maintain their lead and even when they fell behind they could turn things around, this season they couldn't do it. We can see this in the last match they played, where they had to make a comeback after they took the lead with 2 quick goals in the first half.
Next season, they have to be even more prepared, because now they have a competing team that is even stronger than them this season, which means they have to give up their defending champion status. Leverkusen is on my mind, because they will most likely be able to continue what they have shown this season, especially when it has been confirmed that have been at Leverkusen longer.
They already have very good capital, they just need to add some players who can make Leverkusen's game even better.
