Personally I don't think Roma team will be able to qualify for the Champions League. First, Roma team is 6 points behind Atalanta. So Roma must win the next two matches and Atalanta must lose both matches. Moreover, Roma will not be able to qualify for the fifth place in the table if they do not win two matches by a large margin.
Secondly, Roma will play their last two matches against Genoa and Empoli. Although these two teams are relatively weak, Roma team is not in good form at the moment. Their performance is quite erratic. For this reason, even if the opponent is weak, it is unlikely that Roma will win by a large margin
My guess is Atalanta will be fifth in the table. Roma is now playing against Genoa. Neither team could score a goal in the first half. So I don't think Roma have a chance to win by a big margin.
Roma has gone through ups and downs this season. But they managed to put themselves together after the sack of Jose Mourinho and are now fighting for a Champions League slot. A UCL position is not impossible but it is difficult since it is not totally in the hands of Roma. They will have to win all their games while hoping that Atalanta lose by a large margin. Roma has not won any game in five matches which shows the level of inconsistency in the squad.
I doubt if they can beat Genoa and Empoli. Atalanta is not a club that will lose against Torino and Fiorentina. Atalanta will indeed be focusing on the game against Bayer Leverkusen which might bring some distraction. But I don't see them losing two Seria A games in a row. I just think that Daniele De Rossi boys should be comfortable with a Europa spot.
