I don't even know if I should say I'm disappointed at Real Madrid or not... they made a mess of the match they were winning clean yet they won the league. I actually expected them to win the match given the enthusiasm with which they started the match and opened the scoring. Perhaps they were a bit complacent thinking they have subdued Villareal without knowing that "it is not over until it is over", this was the favourite words of my coach back then when I was hoping I'll become a professional footballer.
Real Madrid should use tonight to learn to maintain the same energy until the match is over, a strategy they have to deploy against Borussia Dortmund who they are playing in the UEFA Champions League final.
Would you blame Sorloth for being in a super striker and equalizing all the goals for his team when everyone thought that Madrid have one the match. Sorloth was able to clear everyone doubt that it is not over until it is over with his superb goals that he scored which made them to share points with Real Madrid.
I am not blaming Madrid for anything, because this match does not matter a lot amd the players needs to play safe so that they will be in good fit for the champions league finals ahead of them. If you observe, after Real Madrid won the trophy when Barcelona lost to Girona, after that match Ancelotti have been using is second choice to start their matches so that his first eleven can relax and not stress themselves too much.
For Madrid fans, Sorloth is a disaster that was never expected, because actually it is not easy to score goals against Los Blancos, but today Sorloth scored 4 goals in one match. Luckily Madrid did not experience defeat against Vellarreal, where Madrid actually no longer had any targets from that match. However, the 4-4 draw is still difficult to accept, Ancelotti fleet should have won easily.
Ancelotti will of course be more focused on the Champions League final against Dortmund, so his choice to field second-string players and save key players for the remaining La Liga matches is very appropriate. There is one more match left against Betis, where Ancelotti will continue to rely on his second tier players to avoid unwanted risks.
Apart from Sorloth, Arda Guler also played very well today, he managed to score two goals against Villarreal. On the other hand, Ancelotti experience in managing a club is certainly no longer in doubt, where I predict that the remaining two matches in the future will be able to be handled perfectly, one of which is the Champions League final.
