As humans we know that corruption is inevitable either because of personal desires or cultural view. Personal greed, secrecy or dishonesty can cause corruption especially when he or she has a powerful position to influence or mandate anything on anyone. Power can either bring out the best or the worst in you.

Thou power has the ability to corrupt anyone in position but when it is in the possession of someone with good intentions for his or her country and high sincerity or integrity, corruption may seem to be less.

Even with someone who actually intend to serve for the community, country still can go the other way because we don't know what we really desire until we get that power in the hands, everyone has their dark side which can be ugly if it's shown and it reflect only in the position when they are in the superior position to control/manipulate whoever is under their control.
