In cryptocurrency we rely on prediction and in the process of the observation, there are some prediction become false while some are accurate. We can't neglect prediction in the cryptocurrency market.
I somehow agree to what you have said, this is a speculative market so predictions do have its part.
But I'd say that we don't fully rely on them as the market has its own factor and basis on how it shall move. While those predictions are no doubt moving the market and affects it.
You're right crypto market is very hard to predict, though there are some people that makes accurate prediction about the movement of coins in the market. I think sometimes it works out of guessing, is just like those who normally play gamble they can just make predictions, at this point they don't know what will be the outcome. but they always hope to get good outcome, sometimes it can work out exactly their prediction that's if luck is on their side, sometimes thier prediction can also fail that's just exactly how crypto market works most times.
They're analysis that has a basis so those predictions got to hit it right it with how they look at it. But most of the predictions are just plain price guessing and that's not a problem.
While the market is so uncertain, look at what's happening in the bull run. You get to see that everything is going up because we're on the bull run and those predictions could be right if many of them told high predictions.
