Xabi Alonso has become a very special manager for Leverkusen fans already. It is easily visible. It was such a cool thing to see Xabi Alonso lifting the trophy with the fans at the stadium. He climbed to the tribune to do that.  Grin

He is about to break every record available as it seems. First of all, he started with making Leverkusen the first ever undefeated champion in the Bundesliga history. Now he is going for finishing the season with 3 titles by not losing any game as well. This must also be some kind of a record. I don't believe there is any better achievement earned than this by another team so far. I don't remember any manager who started their career this spectacular.  Smiley

I don't know if there is a team that has won 3 trophies without defeat, but I can say that there are very few teams that have won the league championship without defeat. Already Milan did it in the 91/92 season, Arsenal in the 02/03 season, and Juventus in the 11/12 season. Now Bayer Leverkusen has done it. Xabi Alonso won the league title without defeat and made history with his team. Now they have the UEFA Europa League ahead of them, but Atalanta will not be an easy opponent for them. I will be looking forward to watching this match in 2 days.
Yes that's right. Indeed, there are other teams that have won trophies without losing, namely Milan, Juventus, Arsenal and now Leverkusen. However, the coolest and most special of all the teams above is Leverkusen because their squad of players is not too luxurious but can become a team that is feared by all teams in the Bundesliga, including the European League. This is all thanks to Xabi Alanso, he is a truly classy coach, he only needs two more games to achieve an unbeaten treble. Even though there is still the possibility of losing to Atalanta, I am sure Leverkusen will end this season perfectly.

I was also fascinated by the system development and approach taken by Xabi Alanso towards every Leverkusen player. how he applies patterns in every training, diet, and scouting for players like Xhaka, whose performance was not good at Arsenal but could become a maestro at Leverkusen. So it is not surprising that Bayer Leverkusen has now managed to end the season not only with the title, but also with an unbeaten record in the Bundesliga. With 34 matches, 28 wins, 6 draws. They managed to score 89 goals and only conceded 24. Xabi Alonso's squad was truly extraordinary.
