The success achieved by Leverkusen this season has left wounds on the Bayern Munich camp, of course Munich is very angry and disappointed with their failure to defend the Bundesliga title they have won for the last 11 years. Leverkusen must be more vigilant about its success in becoming the new Bundesliga champion and complementing it with an unbeaten record, so far Munich has had a habit of transferring policies that weaken rival teams when their position begins to be threatened.

Munich might make a big surprise in this transfer market, previously they had approached Xabi Alonso, but he rejected the offer from Munich. Munich will try to persuade several very influential players in the Leverkusen squad to move clubs, the offer of a higher salary is one way Munich will try to convince them.
