That's a challenging aspect of such a societal problem. Most families handle two jobs just to meet up with their family financial responsibilities. Parents rarely get involved with their kids due to business and work. However, the workload doesn't occupy the whole day for a gambler. It's all about fatigue and tiring work activities that really separates parents from teaching their kids. Amidst the difficulty some gamblers who make out time still, to play games can funnel the energy towards tutoring their kids. Maybe make out time twice a week to help the kids stay away from wrong influence. Those who then due to whatever reason it is, gamble in the midst of their children are to be cautioned to stop it.
This won't be as a result of being busy in the office or anything else. It's all about negligence and a poor parental training. I do see them as people with symptoms of compulsive gambling. Kids requires consistent training to learn and once they do, It sticks to their brian for a long while. I could, myself, think of some early training received at a tender age, indirectly I was told about the need of saving money as a gambler. Due to a friend who was into a gambling activity that consumes his funds leaving him with no funds. So, instead of telling me not to gamble, my parents used the family friend as an example to teach us the bad impact gambling has on players.
Many people are busy with their job and do not have time to supervise their children. That makes many people just gives money to their children because they thinks that can solves the problem but the real problem will comes to both parents and their children, especially if their children doesn't know how to manage the money.
We already see many children doing a wrong things and with the money from their parents, they thinks that they can buy many things but they are wrong. They can not thinks that not everything can be buy and they do not learn about how to socialize with other people.
The situation can becomes worst when children see their parents playing gambling in front of them so their children will thinks that playing gambling is a right thing for them. It needs awareness from parents so they can change their habit and will gives attention to their children so their children can grow without have a problem.
