A lot of social media influencers especially vloggers and YouTubers are promoting gambling usually at the end of their vlogs or videos.
I could see a huge contribution and spread of information that they made especially during this time where the majority are using smartphones already. In fact, we've been seeing a massive increase in gamblers and online gambling sites. But how this could affect the mindset of the kids when they are also seeing these ads/promotions from the social media influencers they followed? I could be wrong but this has a mental effect on them and at a very young age, they are exposed to gambling already which is supposedly not the right time.
I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their vlogs or videos?
This is why nowadays we as adults don't stop providing education to young people, especially those who are still in school because when they become active gamblers their school will be disrupted and often their personality will be damaged and they will become very evil with money (in order to make ends meet their desire to gamble), many adults who can even make their own money have been ruined by gambling, do we have the heart to let our children become gamblers before they are old enough!
Definitely not, and that a very good question by the way, one that really touches the heart and calls for a sober reflection.
Children gambling is very dangerous not just to them and their future, but also to the parents of such a child, I've seen my with eyes, and as well heard stories of some kids who ended up dropping out of school due to their activeness in gambling, because some of them after winning a good amount of money usually begin to struggle to focus on their education, because they begin to live in the illusion of "what Is the essence of going to school, when they are already make money and become rich from just gambling", they totally forget that gambling is not a job, neither is it a career that should be depended on as a sole means of livelihood.
We as parents must never stop watching over our kids and cautioning them, always telling them what is right for them to do as kids, and what is wrong.
