we know that apart from the fun that some gamblers enjoy while gambling, the majority of others gamble basically because they want to make money from gambling, and in doing this, I have come to notice that gambling stories play a great role in determining if a gambler will reduce his gambling, go more aggressive in terms of the amount used in gambling or even quite gambling momentarily.

I would say yes those big wins and jackpots as a big impact on me in the sense that I place my mind to make it just as others do,on a norms you can dream big while putting effort towards that aspect, definitely most people gambling for money and to double their money but for me I see it differently cause I enjoy the fun but yet I nurse in me that I can still get a big win someday.
