The thing is that people have different perspective of money being wealth and others believe that health is wealth so for me in as much as health is wealth but we need money to remain healthy because without money is impossible for someone to remain healthy because there is no way you could be getting free medical treatment all the time, however even if government controls money or sometimes it decreases in value doesn't prevent someone from being wealthy because a successful person doesn't stock his or her money in one place but instead they invest those money to yield profit as time goes by so even if the currency depreciate in value it will not seriously effect them.

With the world we are today money is everything, actually have you ever asked yourself that if there was no money how would you take care of yourself and family?, however like you mentioned even if you have the knowledge or skills you will still need money to establish yourself from the knowledge or the skills you have acquired and the moment you cannot afford the money it become waste.
