I still mostly trust Freebitcoin only because of these reasons, but being more transparent about how the funds are managed should be a priority given the anonymity and likely complete legal immunity that they have managed to keep.
Those reasons, plus transparency regards how funds are managed isn't enough. I really don't think the team in charge of freebitco.in would execute a scam move against their community of users, after so many years together and providing quality services in return.
My concern is just that the lack of care and attendance from the team here at bitcointalk forum and at freebitco.in website has serious potential to put the platform's funds under risk. Hackers can take advantage of the gaps in the system and absence of the managers to steal further funds at some point it will be unrecoverable for the website. That is what I fear the most. If that happens, they won't have how to pay users back, and then there won't be anything we can do about it.
By my understanding, we had a taste of that recently with the situation involving the high rollers' accounts. And as that tasted really bad, I'm pretty sure I don't want to go ahead for a full meal...
