@TheCoinDad is auctioning off the world's 1st bitcoin ASIC miner on behalf of the Bitcoin Mining Museum. The Avalon1 by Canaan Creative was a result of the Avalon Project which launched in September 2012. Arriving in January 31, 2013, it mined an average of 15-20 BTC per day when the global hashrate was only 20 TH/s. It hashes at 60 GH/s using 600W of power with 110nm ASIC chips. Less than 900 total units produced, and only 300 were made in the black metal case like this one. This ASIC is considered to be one of the most iconic, tangible pieces of Bitcoin history. An EPIC conversation piece in any Bitcoin memorabilia collection.
