It is very unfortunate that Arsenal failed to win the trophy this season, but the gap with City this season is very tight.
This tight competition with Manchester City shows Arsenal improvements because the last season, they held the first position in many weeks, created a lot of hope but they started to fall quickly and no longer were able to compete with Manchester City some weeks before the season ending.
Arsenal can take this tight gap in this season, to celebrate by themselves on their improvement and take it as motivation to improve more and win Premier League title next season.
As a Gunners supporter, I see that Arsenal has struggled hard to improve its performance. Even though they did not achieve satisfactory results for the club and the supporters, they have shown improvement.
Don't win the title is disappointed for Arsenal fans but I saw improvements of Arsenal in Premier League and in Champions League too. I am optimistic on chances for Arsenal to continue their improvements with Arteta and soon will be Premier League Champion.
Next season, if Arteta still manages Arsenal, I hope he brings in new arrivals who are more reliable, especially for a pure striker who is multi-talented. In fact, Arsenal doesn't have a pure striker who can really be relied on. because, Nketiah could not provide something that the team, club and supporters expected.
With good performances in Premier League and Champions League, Arsenal got good income for their club in this season and if they want to continue improvement, they must give Arteta bigger budget for player transfer and buy players he need like a world class striker.
