Absolutely, it is quite easy to spot a scam like this if you just take out a time to think about things critically and forget about the enormous gain/profit you stand to gain, a simple question like "why would the CEO and the board call me personally to give me a personal deal, in order for me to earn more", if you think about it this way, it is clear it is a scam.

It is easy to scam people when they are greedy and only think about what they are about to gain, and not if the offer is too good to be true.
