If I understands it correctly, it was like the program has been abuse, but even though it's currently cancelled, in a statement as provided in the link you shared, they promise they'll return with a better system.
It's seriously weird that they didn't anticipate this considering the fact that they have been in this business for several years now. Abusers are lurking everywhere and they try to sniff out any opportunity wherever it is.
Maybe it's their first time making that offer? We are not sure about that, but it's good that they realized it before the problem became too big. Also, in the announcement, they were quite transparent, and I appreciate that in a casino that I'm supporting.
They should have prepared themselves properly by following strict rules in order to differentiate effectively between legitimate members and abusers.
It already happened, I'm sure they'll learned from their mistake but they'll be coming back with a better rules, a rules that would not allow the abusers to win.
