His statement is not an ambiguous statement, based on the news I read on the internet, after successfully bringing Atalanta to become UEL champions, Gasperini was immediately offered a contract by Napoli but he had to talk first with executives at the Atalanta team regarding what his future at Atalanta would be.

OFC, the offer from Napoli is an offer that's difficult to refuse considering Napoli is a team that has more capacity to compete in Serie A. IMO he will not continue with Atalanta & will go to Napoli.
Napoli are a bigger club than Atalanta and have better so they can give Gasperini more opportunities to upgrade his coach career and reach a higher level. An offer from Napoli will be very interesting and hard to refuse. Only very big love for Atalanta will force Gasperini to refuse such offer from Napoli.

True, a move to Napoli would certainly enhance Gasperini's career, but would it be a wise decision for him? small teams definitely have small expectations, while large teams definitely have big expectations too. So, of course there will be more pressure on Napoli if he moves to Napoli, quite a few managers who have good names become bad because they have a lot of pressure on the club they manage. I hope Gasperini stays at Atalanta and can create other miracles for the club.
You're right about Napoli's size putting pressure on managers. Its a big decision, especially given Gasperini's current situation. Napoli has superior resources and players over Atalanta. But Gasperini's constructed something exceptional at Atalanta. Teamwork and coherence are hard to reproduce. With Napoli in such trouble, is it time to abandon ship? Managers will feel pressure to turn things around quickly, which is difficult. It depends on what Gasperini loves most: the chance to challenge himself or his stability and success. A true brain-scratcher.
