Thats funny. Before the game, many predicted a Leverkusen triumph. You couldnt bet against a season-unbeaten club, right? Football's beauty is its unpredictability. On reflection, this result doesnt change the overall picture. But Leverkusen has had a great season. Without many star players, going unbeaten in the league and reaching the European final is difficult. They'll be devastated, but they may learn from it. Still, it shouldnt interfere with what they've done. It should energize them for next season. Since they've defeated the finest, I think they'll be stronger than ever. Remember: Leverkusen's greatness is just beginning.
Next season, Bayer Leverkusen will have an even greater league than this season, namely the Champions League through the Bundesliga, which Leverkusen won this season. You remind me of Sevilla, they are one of the teams that would dominate the European League if they were here, but this season they are in the Champions League and they failed miserably even though they were only able to be in the European League, yes they had to be eliminated from all competitions after they became the team at the bottom of the final standings of the Champions League group stage. It's a shame really, because if they were here maybe they would be able to talk a lot considering they are used to it and can even prove themselves when they are in the Europa League.But now they are far away from that level.
