Yes, maybe they had internal problems which ultimately made the relationship between them not good, so that in the end Xavi had to be the one who was kicked out because of the bad relationship. In fact, if we look at Barcelona's performance, he should still be worthy of being given the opportunity to become coach next season. However, news circulating that there has been an agreement between Barcelona and Flick confirms that Xavi will no longer be part of Barcelona next season.
However, I think Xavi will soon find a new team, because his performance is not bad and even shows something that I think is quite promising. So maybe it won't take long for him to get a new team.
Hearing about Xavi departure from Barcelona is shocking to most of us including Barcelona fans. There was little internal disagreement in the past that we didn't expect him to stay this long in the team. Some few days ago, Xavi wanted to step down as the head couch with dignity but the Barca president begged him to stay which he agreed only to wake up and informed that he's been fired. I learnt that there's a little issue between them after Xavi made some speech in the conference but I don't see that as enough reason to part ways with the couch.
This is a pure stab at back and an act of betrayal from Barcelona management to one they called their own legend. Many couches were fired in the top league but some of them are predictable and can be justified but this Xavi sacking is totally different which I see as a mistake from Barcelona. Xavi couching record is not too bad and I believe he can secure a job somewhere soonest if Rooney with worse record is being running after. I hope the incoming couch who is reportedly to be Hansi Flick can perform better as they assume and not end up being sacked in the middle of the season.
