Winning the FA Cup is the only way for Man United to take part in Europe stage next season because that would give the winner an automatic ticket to the Europa League. Apart from that, the FA Cup is not the only hope for Man United because it looks like Ten Hag's fate will also be at stake in this final match.
If Manchester United players want to play in the European competition next season, they need to play this game for themselves and not for their coach because the coach's fate is already sealed, but they still have an opportunity to play with their next coach if they can defeat Manchester City. Manchester United were not impressive when they played against Manchester City in the Premier League, they need to make sure that they do not play in the same manner else Manchester City will make headlines with them.
I'll be supporting Manchester United to win, I believe that if they can make use of the few opportunities that they will have they should be able to win this game and at least give the coach a good farewell.
With hunger and taste that Manchester city are currently playing on, I doubt if united can withstand the pressure but the fact that united know a win in this game would give them a chance in European football just sets the bar a little higher for them to win although even the bookmakers know and give Manchester city a smaller odd to win but then again it's a Derby match so anything can happen so we hope for the best and prepare for the worse.
Derby matches are always interesting and there is always drama in them, and the Manchester Derby which takes place in the FA Cup final will definitely have a lot of drama and be interesting for us to enjoy.
