I'm happy that Xavi was able to win the laliga league tittle as a coach for Barcelona, he met Barcelona in a terrible condition that he was able to fixed the club back to normal. I just know xavi is a good coach who was able to manage the players he met in the club to win the league for Barcelona last season. Barcelona should have tried their best to keep xavi in the club because it is not easy to get a coach that can revive a team to win the league. The most important important thing xavi as coach for Barcelona was that he was able to achieve something for the league and it is a great achievement for him that will boast is career.
If Barcelona was able to provide the kinds of players xavi wants in the club, Barcelona would have done very well in laliga and even in champions league but xavi was able to manage this players to win the league last season, I just hope Barcelona won't regret sacking xavi because having a good coach in a club matters a lot.
I think the biggest reason for the disagreements in Barcelona was that they could not recruit the type of players that Xavi wanted. If Xavi could build his squad with the players he wanted, he could easily compete with Real Madrid and other teams.
There seems to be an undisclosed problem between Xavi and the management at Barcelona. This problem has been going on for a long time. Xavi is not a failed coach, on the contrary, I think they have progressed well despite having a lower quality squad than their rivals.
The main reason for these disagreements is that Barcelona is not as strong as it used to be, after the fans got used to a Barcelona that was always successful.
I am pretty sure that Xavi wanted to stay. There was definitely something or somewhat of a disagreement between him and the club and that's why they have decided to let him go. I wonder who they are going to get now. Because right now there is definitely a shortage of good coaches. Those who are actually being able to bring in good results are not available. I think it is eventually going to be a downgrade. And there is also a problem of affordability. I would have liked them to get Klopp or Jose Mourinho. But at this moment I don't think that is going to happen. And they are also not going to be interested in Barcelona because of the money situation that Barcelona is in right now.
This was definitely a big mistake made by Barcelona. They had a coach who was doing decent and also brought them a La Liga title. I don't think for a club that was about to go bankrupt a few years ago finishing on the second position of La Liga is bad.
