I must say I was a bit impressed with United performance today and I think it was a well deserved victory but they didn't deserve to actually win a trophy this year so that's kinda meh. Also , this trophy won't save this season because no matter what and I also don't consider ten Hag position being safe at all but the next 2-3 weeks should tell us more regarding who will coach United for next season.
City basically forgot how to play football in first half and when second half started it was already to late to make a comeback because United were in great shape today.
Not too surprised, as I said yesterday on paper, Manchester City is indeed the favourite but the FA Cup is a different competition I mean competitions that often give surprises and today we see it. I agree with you that Manchester United took advantage of the first half and fortunately in the second half Manchester United was able to withstand Manchester City's attack. Regarding Ten Hag, that's true maybe this trophy can't save him and I think he will be kicked out soon he couldn't have given Man United a better place., there isn't even a single ticket to the Europa League competition yet.
I would say for sure that that was surprised that man United despite their weak form could hold their own against man City in this fa Cup final, to me city despite their good performance could only get the premier league trophy for themselves, we can all agree that their performance this season was exceptional but I guess luck wasn't on their side, their loss in the champions league was something unexpected since there were undoubtedly the better side but list to penalties shoot out.
Man United could get to Europa this season but at least there were able to get a cup for themselves.
