I don't know if the timing of MY reply will be useful but ya the proportion of men to women in crypto has a huge imbalance. Consistent survey has shown women involved are ranging from 30% to 40% and the most recent reported by cointelegraph shows only 37$ of world women population are involved in crypto but with Gracy and YI already holding key position in a top crypto exchanges I expect more women to follow suit
It’s difficult for women to break into male-dominated fields. Due to a few reasons being lack of awareness, representation and just gender bias. Since not much women are in the field, it’s already less considered by other women as they do not see a lot of women in it. Because of lack of representation they aren’t able to find mentors and support that they need when trying to get into the industry.
Lastly many of those who are part of the industry have some discriminatory biases against women which ultimately discourage them to further be interested in the field.
