At least Leverkusen has won there game against Kaiserslautern today in the german DFB Cup.
And that 45 Minutes with 10 players after a red card means something i guess.
~

Imagine if Bayer had won the whole season and ended it with two defeats in the finals. It would be a very strange feeling  Grin
But if Kaiserslautern had won, that would also have been a miracle - after all, they are only the 13th team in the second Bundesliga. This team also surprised everyone and I hope to continue to progress. Overall, I am very pleased that Bayer won and did the golden double (without a single defeat in Germany during the season).

Bayer Leverkusen was the best team this season, I would be very surprised if they did not win the cup apart from the league championship. They played great against all German teams throughout the season, and I did not think for a moment that they would lose in the cup final. After many years, they made their fans happy with such statistics.
After their performances this season, expectations have increased a lot, we are now expecting the champions league championship Cheesy
Leverkusen performance this season has been really tremendous not untill they casually lost to Atalanta in the EUROPA final which I felt should have been their highest priority to secure other than the German cup final but nevertheless they at least secured one out of the both finals played.  How could they have lost this one, going two finals and not winning any even for an under club like Kaiserslautern, it would actually be a bad recognition in the face of Xabi and might affect his career probably his continuity as the coach of Leverkusen.
Despite losing their UEFA Europa League final game against Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen's campaign this season is nothing short of extraordinary because I don't think anyone would've have predicted that they'll get everything they got this season at the start of the season. Winning the German Bundesliga ahead of a big team like Bayern Munich isn't an easy task if you ask me so I think Bayer Leverkusen deserves all the accolades they're currently getting and even more. They didn't stop at winning the league but also won the DFB-Pokal to add to their league title. Xabi Alonso's men also broke and set a new record of the most unbeaten run in Europe and qualifed to play in the UEFA Europa League final which they surprisingly lost to Italian side Atalanta.
Leverkusen now have a bigger season ahead of them because they'll be defending the German Bundesliga as well as playing in the UEFA Champions League competition come next season and I think they'll definitely do well in both competitions
