Gambling is undoubtedly risky and many people are addicted to gambling and are constantly losing their money.
The ones who are consistently losing money at gambling doesn't really understand gambling in first place, because the ones who understand gambling from its core would never lose money in it.

I have been part of the gambling platforms and so far I haven't faced huge losses because for me it's just a fun activity and I only get serious about it during sports events.

I do my research properly before placing any bets on sports events, and even on those events I try to reduce my bet amount so there won't be much losses if even I don't win the game.

For sure there would be realization on each situation you face while playing and you will be more careful on each decision making you do. So losing is really avoidable if we just have good discipline and have proper understanding on the game we are participating.

I also been part of a lot of gambling platforms around since there are a lot of casinos offering their platforms here which have nice promotions and I try a lot of them out of curiosity. But I really didn't have any devastating experience since I know my limit and I don't want to lose a lot of money. If people have good mindset and will not chase to earn a lot from gambling for sure they would not came to the point which they regret everything they do and promise that won't gamble anymore.

But rather they always came to gamble because they want to seek fun and entertainment since they get bored and once they get what they want or achieve their short term goals then that is really fulfilling moment for gamblers who have good discipline for their selves.
Manage your self-control, dude. A gambler can save "fun money" for the casino. Nothing for rent or food, just some extra cash for fun. That's crucial, right? Treat it like fun. Casinos are meant to make you forget. In them are bright lights, exhilarating sounds, and the promise of a large victory. That can confuse you, guy. You want to play because of the "near miss effect" when you almost win. You know, like a drug? It can ruin a nice night. Thus, knowledge empowers. You must learn about these games, odds, and psychology. As in a combat, you must know your opponent. If gambling is your thing, have fun, but don't be foolish. Be informed, set limitations, and remember that it's about the experience, not the money
