Even though they had experienced a difficult season, Lyon still failed to win the only title they could get this season. This is all because PSG continues to dominate all competitions in France and Lyon does not even have the opportunity to experience the Coupe de France title.
If only Lyon won the title, I think they would have additional motivation after everything that happened this season and that would improve the mentality of all the players to be better in welcoming the upcoming season. It was unthinkable that Lyon would experience such a deadlock that they would change coaches this season and perhaps management should really pay more attention to bringing in new players in the summer market so that they can be more competitive with other teams from the start of the Ligue One season.
Even though Lyon lost to PSG, their achievements this season are still impressive considering that at the start they didn't look like a team that could reach 6th place at the end of the season, and because PSG is the strongest team, the team that wants to compete with them must be a team with very good performance, but their appearance Lyon did not disappoint as you can see after falling behind 0-2 Lyon tried better to guard their goal but unfortunately until the end of the match they were only able to score one goal so it was PSG who won the French Cup.
Lyon will compete in Europe, obviously that is a very exciting thing for Lyon, but whether they can compete there is of course still a question, because it is not an easy competition for any club.
