I would refuse to consider general gambling in such way and philosophize on this matter.

Real gambling involves  logic, creativity, powers of observation (you name it)     which in turn stimulates both parts (right and lest) of the human brain thus increasing its "supercomputing" potential to make  hard decisions when needed.
