It seems like a coach like Hansi Flick won't be able to do much if he isn't given a lot of freedom in determining the players he wants and of course Barcelona knows that they have to prepare fresh funds for Hansi Flick to shop for the players he targets. The reason is that Hansi Flick is not a native Spanish coach and as we know, he certainly won't feel comfortable if he only relies on the available players or only relies on players from the La Masia academy.
I think there is a need for a comprehensive approach before the season starts and this is usually done from the direction of the players who will enter as starters later and in my opinion Barcelona still lacks quality players to be able to compete with its eternal rival, namely Real Madrid. So in the end, Barcelona will not be able to completely dominate La Liga and they could fail to win the La Liga title from Real Madrid if there is no refreshment in their squad.
Barcelona have officially switched coaches from Xavi to Hansi Flick, Xavi dismissal will most likely be a Boomerang that will probably have a bad impact on Barcelona performance next season, I have no doubts about Hansi Flick performance and also the greatness of Hansi Flick in coaching so far, but I think Hansi Flick came to Barcelona not at the right time and of course it will take a lot of patience and also hard work to build the Barcelona squad to be able to compete for the title Next season, Hansi Flick has been building The Bavarian skuad into a great team and of course that may be the reason Barcelona recruited Hansi Flick to replace Xavi, but I think Barcelona forgot that Munich has been built not with academy players but by spending big money in the transfer market.
At the moment Barcelona have limited funds to bring in the players that Hansi Flick wants and I think Hansi Flick should have known that before accepting Barcelona offer, Hansi Flick of course might imitate what Xavi has done so far, namely orbiting academy players and of course targeting free players who really want to play for Barcelona next season, Because there really doesn't seem to be another solution that they can do better in my opinion.
