It seems like a coach like Hansi Flick won't be able to do much if he isn't given a lot of freedom in determining the players he wants and of course Barcelona knows that they have to prepare fresh funds for Hansi Flick to shop for the players he targets. It is very interesting to review the condition of Barcelona after Hansi Flick officially took over as coach to replace Xavi Hernandez. So far, Barcelona has always looked for coaches who have a style of ball possession and short passes, they also very often appoint coaches who have ties to the club or have Barcelona DNA. Flick doesn't have Barcelona DNA and he also very often uses a 4-2-3-1 formation with a fast style of play that puts high pressure on the opposing team. This formation and strategy is very different from what Barcelona has used so far with the 4-3-3 formation and short passing style of play.
If Flick is consistent with the style of play he often uses and does not receive intervention from the club's technical staff, then there will be big changes in Barcelona game for next season. Large funds must be prepared to enable Flick to carry out his duties well, he certainly needs several players who can be relied on according to the tactics he often uses.
