With next season I think Xabi Alonso will do his best for his team. It is true that defending the title will be difficult because the competition will definitely get tougher in the new season. Leverkusen has really performed extraordinary this season. Even though it was very unfortunate they had to lose to Atalanta. Even though that one match would make them the only team in history with a perfect record throughout the season! It is a record that is impossible to repeat even for Leverkusen themselves. Maybe this will be one of the most memorable seasons. But I admit Leverkusen are really on a different level this season. That's all about football; sometimes you win and someday you lose, so it is not a new thing that Leversekun loses to Atlanta. But at least they did try enough since they were able to keep a memorial this season, because not all the clubs that can standard well and set records the way Leverkusen performs this season and avoid any teams defeating them they only beat every of their opponents they meet back to back.
At least Leverkusen deserves a big gift this season in all the leagues they were attemp since they almost became a favorite team in some of the leagues like the Bundesliga and Europe League.
