Yep. Build a diverse portfolio with altcoins alongside Bitcoin. When BTC rises, the alts will follow. I have a pretty diverse portfolio at R100K and I have seen great profit.
I think when you advise someone to buy altcoin this must come together with names of those altcoins so the only work needs by OP is to check those coins and decide if they are deserving to be in their folio?
