I have noticed a trend that now coaches who have ever worked with Guardiola are highly valued (Kompany - Bayern, Maresca - Chelsea), and if the first one is quite young and has not yet proven his skills with impressive results, then Maresca was able to win the Championship, which looks very earnestly. He is already discussing summer transfers with the management, for now it is reported that he wants to buy a goalkeeper and a defender.
But Kompany did not work with Guardiola as an assistant coach or any coaching staff position. He was a former player but he is not doing good as a manager therefore Bayern Munich are not thinking correctly before hiring him. He might do well at the club but it would not be because of his coaching abilities but because of the players that Bayern Munich has and the mindset of the players at the club. Bayern Munich is a big club and Kompany should not be having such privilege to manage them when he does not have a good record but Pep guardiola influence would had helped in securing that job. Every club wants Pep Guardiola management abilities and are looking for a coach with his coaching style. Chelsea has a good manager on their team, they should give him full freedom to bring out the best from the young squad.
