Gonna gamble until bankrupt.
I guess that's the popular craze in the town. Kidding aside, there are gamblers who are truly like that. They are not going to stop until they don't see themselves crying with nothing.
They will not listen to anybody until they are noticing that no one is going near to them because they don't listen and they don't have anything anymore because, they've lost their entire money in gambling.
Without a doubt there are gamblers that are like that, I have seen a few of them and it is sad to see how as their addiction progresses they lose everything, and the worst part is that they know this process is taking place, but they are unable to stop themselves from gambling.
So at some point some of those people may accept this as their new normality, and give up on trying to leave this state behind and recover everything they have lost.
It is absolutely immoral for anyone to accept abnormal state of life and living to be their new normal even when its killing them, I bid to disagree that anyone will be addicted to gambling to the extent that you gave a picture of here, and not try to work or find their way out of such a miserable life, what I have personally seen before, and still see today is that, when a gambler gambles to the extent he comes seriously addicted, the gambler usually will find way to get help out of it, sometimes, the gambler doesnt let this out to the public, but deep inside of him, he is fighting to get free from the addiction, and if after few months or years of fighting and no result, frustration and anxiety sets in, from there, this slips into depression, and when things have gotten to this stage, emotions, self pity and other factors can drive such person into committing suicide.
What I am saying in essence is that, no body can become very comfortable living with gambling addiction if it's harming their finances and making life generally unbearable for him or her, only set of people who can comfortably live with gambling addiction are those who have made alot of money and have business running and generating money for them to fund their gambling desires easily.
