Hi guys, I want to ask some tips on getting some merits. I somehow feel jealous when I see other full members having tons of it even if they're just new to the forum. I know that there are some ways to earn it like being active in your local board, engaging in the gambling threads talking about particular sports, create an informational thread, or have some deep knowledge about bitcoin's technical like block size, hash rate, etc. And that's my concern, I am not good with any of those stuffs. I am not a sports enthusiasts nor good in bitcoin technical. Our local board is not that active also compared to others where I see some members' their main merit source.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking my time to read my post. Cheers!

From what I can see, you have been in the forum since 2017 and the last time you login to the forum was 2023 which shows that you are not an active and regular person in the the forum. You will have to be regular in the forum for you to keep getting merits. If you have been active since when you write this post, it would have been quite okay and people would have seen the need to give you merits. You are not active and you are not in any signature campaign, it could be difficult for you to get merits since you don't write nor try to make good post that would make people find you as a regular and good poster.
Getting merits actually takes time because you need to secure your learning first by being active most often in the forum. And when you think you have gained sufficient amount of knowledge and experience, that’s when you will see getting merits come so easily after they have acknowledged your posts because it’s helpful and meaningful for them.
Don’t focus on hunting merits first but rather give full attention on what you can learn in the forum. That’s the best possible way so you can maximize earning merits as well as maximize learning in the forum.
Basically, to get merit, we must not be lazy about studying and reading because by doing these two things we will automatically gain knowledge and insight so that when we make posts it will be more useful and constructive. Of course, being frequently active in forums is also a factor in getting Merit, because the more often you are active in forums, the more familiar you will be with the discussions in the forum, which makes us more comfortable in discussing.
Yes I agree with you. Don't focus on looking for merit, but focus on your skills in making quality posts that are useful for people to read, then the reward will come by itself. Because believe me, if you focus on hunting for rewards, you will quickly give up and end up leaving this forum.
