You are completely wrong and as such, I disagree with you, winning or losing in gambling has nothing to do with whether the gambler is addicted or not, luck does not know who is addicted to gambling and who is not, both addicted and non addicted win accordingly and based on who encounters good luck and when.
Are you in any way saying that lucky is the major player who decides if a gambler will win or not? I believe luck has a role to play, but that's not in every game and not all the time.
There are times where one might feel too lucky and play any and any game due to how distracted they might be as a result of either losing too much or being eager to win big.
In such cases, do you still think luck can allow the person to win, or will the result of the game be otherwise? In sports betting, I really think prediction skill is one of the tools that determines the gambler's winning strength.
