It's ridiculous for Conte to sell Osimhen because for me Lukaku is too heavy and he's old, but Conte will always be a controversial coach full of challenges.
I don't know how much Inter Milan will spend on these two players, but Inter Milan always spend a little money but are able to make the players valuable, this they have done several times and are now important pillars of the squad.
Kompany hit the jackpot from Burnley moving to Bayern Munich, I can't judge because he doesn't have much experience as a coach.
Antonio Conte has interested with Romelu Lukaku because both of them working each other at Inter Milan and Conte know well the striker typical needed by selling Victor Osimhen. Chelsea seems not problem for selling Romelu Lukaku than extend his loan clause with AS Roma and get fresh fund for signing new players on next window transfer opening.
Inter Milan reported have been sold by their owner Suning Group made Inter Milan as collateral and is currently under the new ownership of Oaktree Capital after Suning Group failed to pay debts of 395 million euros. I doubt with the new era of Inter Milan owner make them most active for signing top players because the new owner seems spending small fund to sign new players.
Let's put aside Lukaku age for now, because statistically the comparison of his goal productivity with Osimhen is not much different where Lukaku in the 2013/24 Serie A season in 32 matches bagged 13 goals and 33 assists while Osimhen in the 2023/24 Serie A season in his 25 matches with Napoli bagged 15 goal and 3 assists.
However, releasing Osimhen from Napoli was a very inappropriate decision, because so far Osimhen role has been very vital as the spearhead of the attack. Although I admit that last season Napoli was better because they managed to win the title, while this season dropping to 10th position shows bad results.
The reason is that Conte has a point of view that is often annoying, so if he becomes Napoli coach, Osimhen career could be threatened.
