This is really strange. The current CEO of FUNToken denies having any connection to FreeBitco.in. If there is no connection, who the hell appointed him CEO? TheQuin has literally stated that FreeBitco.in is in control of FUNToken.
That's very strange because Freebitco really acquired FUN token and the whole project, even if you check FUN's website's you'll see that their DApp list only includes Freebitco and Freebitco's projects. Btw it's usual that companies deny close connection with each-other, they probably do it for their own safety. TheQuin said that Dplay is Freebitco's project but yesterday I asked Dplay's customer support about Freebitco.in and they said that Freebitco was only their partner and they aren't the same team, and aren't connected to each other.It isn't a misconception. We bought out the majority of the cold storage and now control the smart contract.
Btw it's good that many people are able today to withdraw their coins from Freebitco. Can anyone confirm if they are able to withdraw FUN from Freebitco's account? I still can't withdraw it, I don't receive a confirmation email.
Maybe fun token creator is washing their hands and try to divert peoples attention towards the current controversy facing by freebitco.in? For sure they don't want people to get afraid of the current situation and they know that Fun token will get affected for current status happening on this casino. If this is the case then I guess people need to be aware about this so that there's no confusion will happen. But I'm still doubting about them due to current happening and maybe acquiring Fun token at current situation will be least of my priorities.
Lets keep updated on this thread if there would be some users will confirm that they could able to withdraw their FUN tokens out of Freebitco.in, but also its good development that we can see some people confirming that they successfully withdrawn their funds.
To be fair, There’s no specifics that they purchased the whole project but rather they just acquired the remaining tokens on the cold storage of FUNtoken project which means transfer of ownership of that token can be done anonymously through buying it directly to the team.
The freebitco.in team is known for working in anonymous for since they started this project. I think the Funtoken denial to this matter is part of their NDA agreement for this acquisition. I’m not sure if there’s DAO on Funtoken but maybe freebitco.in is planning to control the FUN development through DAO voting if ever they have this feature.
