Let's be realistic. Whoever replaced Xavi this season could not have won this cup. Xavi managed Barcelona in the best way possible and handed the team over to Flick in second place. We will watch together what Flick will do next year, but there are no big differences between Flick and Xavi. If Xavi wanted to go, of course his decision should be respected, but if Barcelona wanted to send him, I think they are making a big mistake.
I also doubt that Hansi Flick will immediately make Barcelona champions in Laliga in his first season, namely in the next season. This means that I also doubt that Barcelona's new coach can make Barcelona progress rapidly in just one season. Because of course there will be a lot of readjustments there. Moreover, Hansi Flick and Xavi have different coaching styles or implementation of strategies. And I also doubt he could be a better coach for Barcelona than Xavi. But even so, I still hope Barcelona can improve. Although I doubt it. And actually I don't see Barcelona getting worse in Xavi's hands, so I still feel that firing Xavi is a decision that the club itself will probably regret. Because Barcelona this season also finished in second place and that is not a bad result in La Liga. And in the UCL Barcelona can also go further than last season. Even though they still lost to their rivals Real Madrid. but that's normal because Barcelona couldn't even bring in better players in the transfer market last summer and could only borrow a few players like Duo Joao. So it is natural that Xavi cannot make Barcelona have maximum performance because the club was not able to bring in better players last season. And that is a normal thing considering that the financial problems at this club are still not resolved.
