Every day, thousands of dollars enter or leave the treasury of casinos, and we always hear about a gambler who wins or loses a large sum of money.

The thing that caught my attention is that the casino never loses. The money that you win is not the property of the casino, but of another player. The casino is in the process of recycling the money that the players have invested. There is always a winner and a loser, and when you bet with an amount of money, you bet against the money of all the other players. If you win, they will pay you from their money, and if someone else wins, they will pay himBTCBTC from your money.

So the casino remains the biggest beneficiary, right?

It's a bit of a dumb question really. Casinos have bills to pay - they keep the lights on, pay for dozens or even hundreds of staff in various jobs, pay for security in many different ways and all the machines that people love to pour their money in. On top of all that, they are able to "give away" welcome bonuses to new people who walk through the door who they anticipate will spend much more than the value of the welcome promotion. The largest ones will give away free drinks and food, because they want gamblers to loosen up, as this means they'll open their wallet a bit more. All these are obvious indicators that casinos make a lot of money on average from every single player that enters.
