Apart from the coach, Barcelona also needs new players, they cannot compete with the current squad we know Barcelona is experiencing financial problems but there's no reason they have to find a way to get out of this. Releasing some old players might be a solution or looking for new talent which is cheaper, It's not easy to build a squad instantly, but at least changes have to start.
They have got a new coach, and of course they will look for the players that Barcelona's new coach wants, but with their very bad financial condition, I don't think they can target more than 2 players because they will be sanctioned by FIFA, because of their situation bankrupt and of course have to pay the salaries of the players they currently have.
However, if they succeed in selling some of their players with high clauses, they can bring in several players who have potential, but if this method fails they will not be able to buy new players because of the current bad financial conditions.
