But surprisingly we have Al Taawoun that can finish the season in the 4th place, it is above the position of Al Ittihad.
It is not surprising at all to see that Al-Taawon can get a better ranking than Ittihad FC at the end of the season, even though that is not a ranking that gives them the opportunity to be able to play in competitions other than local, such as European clubs playing in European competitions, because as far as I know there are only two clubs that play in the Asian Champions League.
Since the start of the season, Al-Taawon performed better than Ittihad, although there were times when they failed to score points so that in the end they could not continue to be contenders for the title.
Statistically, the number of wins for Al-Taawon and Ittihad is the same, but Ittihad has experienced more defeats and their biggest problem this season is defending, because they are the number two team that has conceded the most among the teams in the top ten, and I think Ittihad FC knows that for sure that weakness and that should be their focus next season by buying reliable defenders.

I agree that the the coaches have crucial roles. Even if Al Nassr has many star players, they can't win the trophy of SPL because the quality of Al Nassr coach is still in lower level of Al Hilal coach. Al Hilal has a great coach, he can make the team to play solidly. Having many top players will be useless if they can't play as a solid team.
Will Al-Nassr change coaches? because if the coach plays a crucial role, that should be the step taken by the club, even though they may still believe that Castro next season can bring change to this club and become champion of the Saudi pro league, although that is not an easy thing because Al-Hilal in this league is almost the same as Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and PSG in Ligue 1 are dominating.
