Although Bayern Munich had a poor season, they are beast. Their team is skilled and experienced. Even the top teams have bad years, and the Bundesliga battle was close this year. Bayern's not done yet, even though Leverkusen played well. Great addition, Kompany. Killer, proven leader with a vision. He did what at Burnley? Played fantastic football to get them there. Given Bayern's tools, he'll design a machine that'll crush the competition. No spoilers, but I'm excited to see what Kompany achieves with this team. Bayern has talent, but they need direction. I think Kompany will lead them back to the top soon. Trust the process and realize this team's true potential
This season has been the worst season for Munich but still we cannot underestimate them next season, Leverkusen's dominance this season certainly surprised us all but the question now is, can they be able to repeat it again next season?
Because so far, it is not uncommon for mediocre teams to break the dominance of one big team in the league, but it only happens one season and it is certain that the next seasons they will be down, so it is likely that this will also happen to Leverkusen later, next season will of course be a difficult season for Alonso to be able to maintain their status as defending champions, because it is very likely that Munich will improve their performance and squad next season.
Recruiting Kompany as a coach is of course considered a despair and also Munich last resort this season after they are difficult to get another coach, but I think still Kompany might be able to improve Munich's performance because indeed he has experience in coaching although not as much as other coaches, Kompany ability to lift performance and also make Burnley promoted to the EPL last season certainly deserves our appreciation, I think if Kompany had star or quality players in his squad of course we might see Burnley stay in the Premier League next season, because indeed the ability to coach must of course be supported by quality players.
