This is indeed the last game in Serie A but there will be another game between Atalanta and Real Madrid in August for the UEFA Super Cup title.
Quite true and that's football for you because anything can happen. Well in the case of Atalanta, I feel they were able to defeat Leverkusen because it was important they did so because not only will they break a record of having their first title, they will also break Leverkusen's unbeaten record and they will also qualify for champions league next season so a lot rode on their success but in Fiorentina's own case, they did not have much to prove, no need to exhaust themselves when they already have the upper hand.
Fiorentina will need to do better next season because you can't always be getting close to winning something tangible for your team and then bottling it when it matters the most cause I see the next season as a tough one, teams who weren't much of a threat last time will want to add more pressure, making things difficult for them.
