Has anyone gambling addict shared his situation with you and how did you handled it? please come clean about it let's learn from each other.
If a problem gambler shares that he has an addiction, it means he has made a huge effort on himself and accepted that he has gambling problems. Which are most likely problems with spending money, wasting time and the fact that gambling takes all his attention.
It is very important to talk about this problem, and I often see in interviews about addicted gamblers that they come to share their ideas in order to feel the power to admit the problem. And this is the first step to getting rid of addiction.
You mean in order to move on they must first admit their gambling addiction.
I would have to agree with that. It's on us if we are the gambling addicts. Mentally it does affect people and because we came from a traditional belief that gambling is a sin, it becomes harder to admit it to someone else. I think those who will step up and confess their problem are brave people and if they want change they must overcome that first.
I think the steps next to it will be the key to change our bad habit because being brave is not the only thing that must be done but also keeping that discipline intact that gambling must be controlled to become a responsible gambler.
