I don't know about you but I think this is practically the wrong view or perception to Gambling because if a gambler continues to have such mentality that he or she is going to win despite the loses he keeps getting then that person is just trying to make things alot worse for himself because that circle could just go on and on till all his bankroll runs dry so I think that's definitely not a good advice at all. If a gambler experience loses then the best thing he should probably do is to actually stop with that session and relax and try to continue maybe some other time rather than keep on staking without the certainty of whether he is going to win or not.
I agree, even if is true that most of the time those that put the most effort into their hobbies are the ones that obtain the most benefits out of them, and they may even make money with something that was just a hobby, this does not really apply to gambling, and this is because in most of the games offered by the casinos, it does not matter how hard you may try, you have no chance to improve your results as your luck controls everything, and in that case, it is better to simply give up for those that have lost a lot of money already.
Exactly, and what you said is one of the reasons why gambling is called an activity full of uncertainties and without any guarantee to ensure victory, one can never know what will happen at the end of the session. Winning is nothing more than a chance that the majority of gamblers hope for, but when they overreact to it then there is definitely a possibility that they will create a delusion in their mind that can indirectly increase the belief that the win they always hope for will actually be obtained.
That is the scenario that occurs in the brain of a gambler who is ultimately addicted, because after all, from a common sense and rational point of view, putting excessive hopes on something that runs with uncertainty is a mindset that can never be justified, there is no way to bring victory other than luck coming at the right time, while it is a fact that luck is something that can never be controlled.
