It would be inappropriate for anyone to blame a coach like Xabi Alonso who has looked after and brought the Leverkusen team to an even more extraordinary level this season. Because Leverkusen has also succeeded in winning two trophies this season even though they lost at the wrong time in the final match of the Europa League this season. And I think people who are willing to blame Xabi Alonso just because Leverkusen lost the final match are people who don't understand the pressure that Xabi Alonso is under and maybe also don't understand how football works for all teams including Leverkusen.
There is certainly a feeling of dissatisfaction with the achievements of the team they support among Leverkusen fans. Of course, this is a valuable lesson for Xabi Alonso when he is in the next final match in the future, otherwise whatever he achieves will never be truly appreciated.

I personally am not a fan of Leverkusen, who this season became an impromptu team that won the Bundesliga title without defeat. Xabi is a player who is actually a former Real Madrid player who I respect, so of course I like the style of play he applies to his current team. Leverkusen is nothing compared to other teams in the Bundeliga like Dortmund and Bayern Munich, but Xabi has proven it can all be broken.
So, in a way, until the Atalanta match in the UEFA final, everyone believed that Bayern Leverkuse was invincible this season. And it happened, they lost, they only won the league championship, if they had won the UEFA cup, it would have been talked about much differently than it is now, they missed a lot of things with a single match.

The invincibility would continue and two trophies would be won. It is normal that they are now Bundesliga champions and it is considered a normal success because the expectations have increased tremendously.
